An 'Apocalyptic' Journey To A Ukrainian Frontline City
Our correspondent joins Ukrainian soldiers on the front line for a dangerous journey toward Druzhkivka in eastern Ukraine, where Russian drones have made roads increasingly difficult to travel. Moving with members of Ukraine’s 24th Brigade, Andriy Kuzakov from @CurrentTimeTV documents the constant threat from the air as Ukrainian troops work to intercept Russian surveillance drones monitoring vital supply routes. Around 2,000 civilians reportedly remain in Druzhkivka as Russian attacks intensify. This report shows how drone warfare is transforming daily life and front line fighting in the Ukraine war. Maps of the area around Kramatorsk and Slovyansk provide a wider look at the situation along the Ukraine front line and the challenges facing troops and civilians near the fighting.
